To help a transgender woman earn an alternate income, we hold capacity building classes for them. We have held chocolate making classes for them. We now aim to teach them jewellery making skills. Some of them already make jewellery for themselves with pearls. These classes will not only refine their skills to bring them to a professional level but also provide all of them with a uniform platform to sell their wares. The cost of buying a kit is Rs. 1000 for one beneficiary. This includes all the materials required for making jewellery as well as a fund for marketing and selling the finished goods. Around 10 to 12 people are trained in a single batch for a month.
